THE CLIENT
Dr Francisco Flores, a Counselling Psychologist and experienced private practitioner, and his wife Ruth approached us with an ambitious vision: to create an innovative digital platform that would simplify the process of finding the right therapist (and client) in the UK.
Their idea was to build a system that simply and intelligently connects people seeking therapy with verified, UK-registered therapists, based on their needs and preferences. But beyond that, the platform would foster a genuine, working network - enabling easy referrals between therapists (and Psychiatrists), and supporting professionals through resource sharing, peer support, and more.
The result is PsyConnect - a thoughtfully designed, ethically grounded platform that reflects the real needs of both clients and therapists in private practice.

OUR STRATEGY
Our approach began with a deep understanding of how users would interact with the system, ensuring that both therapists and individuals seeking support could navigate it effortlessly. Given the niche and highly specific nature of the features required, we worked in close collaboration with the client to tailor a solution that not only met their expectations but also anticipated their evolving needs.
We prioritised a user-centric design, engaging in ongoing discussions with the client to refine and functionality based on real-world application. By blending their vision with our expertise, we ensured the platform was both intuitive and effective, offering users the tools they required while introducing enhancements they hadn’t yet considered. This partnership-driven approach allowed us to create a system that was not just functional but also highly adaptable and future-proof.
THE BRIEF
The objective was to design and build a website and system that serves a dual purpose: enabling therapists and psychiatrists to register, present their qualifications, and connect with appropriate clients — while also offering individuals seeking psychological support a straightforward way to register their interest and be matched with suitable professionals.
The platform needed to be intuitive, secure, and user-friendly, ensuring that both practitioners and clients could navigate it with ease. Robust search and filtering features were essential to help users find the right match based on factors like therapeutic approach, availability, fees, and client preferences.
The project aimed to create a digital experience that improves access to psychological support and facilitates ethical, well-matched connections between mental health professionals and those seeking their help.
THE OUTCOME
The result was a fully functional, user-friendly website and system that effectively connects therapists with individuals seeking support. Designed with accessibility and ease of use in mind, the platform allows for onboarding of both practitioners and clients, ensuring a smooth experience for all users.
The system is already successfully facilitating registrations, helping therapists showcase their expertise while enabling clients to find the right support quickly and efficiently. By delivering a robust and scalable solution, we have provided PsyConnect with a powerful tool that supports their mission of making professional psychological services more accessible and effective.
